Karuna is a certified women & minority owned small business located in Midwest. As a young rising healthy beverage brand, Karuna is an award-winning innovator in developing great tasting functional juices and smoothies using whole plant ingredients. Formulated from a belief that Food Is Better Medicine™, each unique beverage is inspired by ancient wisdom and backed by modern science. Karuna wellness beverages offer a vast array of product benefits ranging from restoration of digestive and immune health with prebiotics and antioxidants, delivering clean protein, and providing sustained energy.
As a brand determined to promote health and wellness and out of respect for the mind, body and earth, each Karuna drink is produced locally in our own facility in Saint Louis, Missouri and ingredients are thoughtfully sourced from the suppliers in the US, South America and Asia for the most efficacious, Non-GMO and organic ingredients, to create sustainable products. We work with many business partners in the Midwest region including trucking and warehousing partners in Illinois. Furthermore, Karuna has been active in serving the local communities’ needs by donating Karuna drinks and educating people about healthy dietary choices. Just to name a few, Karuna Beverages partnered with the Bridge of Hope Ministries in North St. Louis county and EarthDance Organic Farm School in the Ferguson area by making donations and educating the communities about healthy eating. We designed Karuna Rainbow Project to provide healthy drinks to the underserved communities in the St. Louis City, to help students in need. In May 2020, Karuna had the honor and privilege of providing more than 2,000 drinks to health care workers and underserved communities in St. Louis during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Most recently, Karuna donated over 800 drinks to the Houston community of Independence Heights impacted by the severe winter storm in February 2021. The high standards in product quality and community involvement earned Karuna Wellness Beverages the honor as the Diverse Business Leader 2020 by St. Louis Business Journal and most recently as the featured business in 2021 Women’s History Month by the Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe of Missouri.
